Handcraft Woodworks

School run by Don Weber, a woodworker, bodger, and blacksmith. Located in Paint Lick, Kentucky.

The Woodworking School at Pine Croft

Focused on providing engaging workshops that use both traditional and contemporary methods, taught by a rotating group of instructors, in a welcoming environment and idyllic location.  Pine Croft continues Berea College’s 125 year commitment to crafts and crafts education.  Located in Berea, KY, and run by Andy Glenn.

The folk school is a non-profit organization which offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music, dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing. Located in Brasstown, North Carolina.

The Boggs Collective

Reknown chair maker Brain Boggs sometimes teaches hand tool classes. The Collective is located in at Asheville, NC. Chair making classes are primarily taught by Jeff Lefkowitz in his shop in Strasburg, Virginia.

David Finck: Woodworker

David Finck studied at the College of the Redwoods under James Krenov. He finished James Krenov’s last cabinet. David offers workshops and plane irons for Krenov style planes. Located in Banner Elk, North Carolina
